2007: Excellent restoration. Worked on steadily for the past 14 years! Very nice craftsmanship throughout. A major supporter and contributor to the restoration is Paul Hunter.
2007: July, EAA Airventure Oshkosh - Bill Yoak and son/pilot Scott Yoak were gracious and helpful to all visitors. They had a sign that said "Please Touch" instead of do not touch. They filled just about everyone's request to see inside the cockpit and even sit inside if they wanted to. Fans from 4 years old, to 80 years old got a thrill they will not forget. The P-51 was painted with a thoughtful design to respect the sacrifices of all those veterans that gave (give) us the opportunity to enjoy such pleasures.
