Nope. It was N6310T then owned by Ward Wilkins. x Boomer. It was the REAL 474832 that burned in the hangar fire in ID. Ward picked me up in this mustang when I was in college and we went to the Tullahoma Fly-in back in the day. He named it "One Mans Pleasure". Still the lowest, fastest, and loudest cross country flight I ever had!I was a crew member for the T28A in the background.N28100 owned by my best friends Father, Dr. Dick Dieter.

I recall seeing the P-51D perform at an airshow in Athol, Idaho int the late 1970's. ("One Man's Pleasure" had a fire engine-red paint scheme with yellow accents.) The next day, she was a total loss because she was stored in a hanger that burned to the ground. The only thing left was engine parts, a bit of airframe, and partial skeletons of her aluminum wheels. WHAT A LOSS!

Update and correction of my 7/27/2015 response.
The P-51 was owned by Gary Norton, and flown out of the private "Henley Aerodrome" in Athol Idaho. The date of the total hanger and contents fire was July 28th, 1981. Unfortunately,"One Man's Pleasure" was a total loss.
Case Closed!
