Mustang I AG 345. This is the first production Mustang 1 for the RAF and was probably photographed somewhere over Los Angeles during July? 1941. The RAF records will show her fate, but she was well photographed whatever the case. I dont know what happened to this one but believe she did not survive the war. For a timeline reference, AG 348 survives!!! She is the third one behind this one on the line and was never delivered to the RAF. Instead she was serialed as XP-51 41-038 and is resident at the EAA museum in Wisconsin. See the restoration articles to learn how different these birds are, even from A' models.
